Shelter Point | Evans Family Single Malt Whisky

This is the result of a collaboration between farmers. The team at Bulkey Valley Honey reached out to us, to see if they could use a barrel to produce a whisky barrel aged honey. We then took that barrel, with its interior still coated in a layer of delicious honey, and used it to produce this whisky, a honey barrel aged whisky.

Tasting notes: on the nose you are greeted by a wonderful floral bloom with hints of sweet honey. The palate provides a rich mouthfeel with creamy malty-ness and wonderful chocolate and berry notes. The finish is long with the honey flavour returning delivered alongside orange and pecan.
