St. Laurent Whisky Rye is a reminder that tradition and creativity go hand in hand. Since rye is a grain well suited to the harsh northern climate of the Lower St. Lawrence region, the artisans at Distillerie du St. Laurent have reinterpreted the Canadian rye whisky style with an uncompromising approach that truly showcases local rye.

Made from rye and malted barley from the Bas-Saint-Laurent region, fermented on grain and distilled twice in copper stills, St. Laurent Whisky Rye embodies our desire to let the Bas-Laurentian terroir express itself freely. The blend of virgin American oak barrels (⅔) and ex-whisky barrels (⅓) that have been aged for three years by the sea reveals an accessible and harmonious whisky with fruity, woody and slightly spicy notes.
